    Registration Requirements:

    • Must be a member of AAPNA.
    • 2 year registrants must complete 20 CE every 2 years.
    • 5 year registrants must complete 50 CE every 5 years.
    • Supporting documentation will be required.

    Registered Ayurvedic Practitioner (R.A.P.)

    1. 1000 hours of ayurvedic training (or)
    2. 750 hours of ayurvedic training + 250 hours of allied ayurvedic health related training programs such as Yoga, Jyotish, Vastu, Meditation, Panchakarma, Massage Therapy (or)
    3. 500 hours of ayurvedic training + 3 years of active ayurvedic practice (or)

    Registered Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner (R.A.A.P.)

    1. 3000 hours of ayurvedic training or BAMS or equivalent ayurvedic training (or) .
    2. 2000 hours of ayurvedic training + 1 year of active ayurvedic practice + 500 hours of allied ayurvedic health related training programs such as Yoga, Jyotish, Meditation, Panchakarma, Massage Therapy (or) .
    3. 2000 hours of ayurvedic training with 3 years of active ayurvedic practice (or).
    4. 2000 hours of ayurvedic training + bachelor’s degree or higher + be a licensed health professional.

    Registered Master Ayurvedic Specialist (R.M.A.S.)

    1. 5000 hours of ayurvedic training including clinical internship (or) MS-Ayurveda / MD-Ayurveda or PhD-Ayurveda (or) .
    2. BAMS or equivalent ayurvedic training + 3 years of active ayurvedic practice (or).
    3. 4000 hours ayurvedic training + 3 years of active ayurvedic practice (or) .
    4. 4000 hours of ayurvedic training + bachelor’s degree or higher + be a licensed health professional.

    Ayurvedic & Vedic Sciences Specializations

    Registered Panchakarma Therapist (R.P.T.)

    1. 1000 hours of ayurvedic panchakarma training (or).
    2. 500 hours of ayurvedic panchakarma training + 500 hours ayurvedic training / Licensed Massage Therapist (or).
    3. 500 hours of ayurvedic panchakarma training + 3 years of active ayurvedic practice.

    Registered Ayurvedic Food Consultant (R.A.F.C.)

    1. 1000 hours of ayurvedic food training (or).
    2. 500 hours of ayurvedic food training + 500 hours ayurvedic training / Licensed or Registered Dietician (or)
    3. 500 hours of ayurvedic food training + 3 years of active ayurvedic practice.

    Registered Ayurvedic Herbalist (R.A.H.)

      1. 1000 hours of ayurvedic herbalism training (or).
      2. 500 hours of ayurvedic herbalism training + 500 hours ayurvedic training (or).
