AHWS will utilize funds in the following areas:

Indonesia – A Hindu boarding school is to be constructed on the outskirts of the capital, Jakarta. It will meet the requirements for the standards of Indonesian education. The project is aimed towards Hindu students within and outside Jakarta to obtain a quality education.

Sri Lanka – 1) Two tuition centers are to be built in a Sinhalese and Tamil village in the Eastern Trincomalee district of Sri Lanka. The tuition centers are needed to prepare students for major exams in all academic subjects, especially for students who have had their education disrupted by the civil war and the 2004 tsunami disaster.

2) Midday meals are to be provided to 2 village schools and tuition teachers are needed for 8 villages in the Trincomalee District.

Nigeria – A plan for implementing HIV nutrition is needed for the HIV program that has been geared towards Christian and Muslim communities in and around the Lagos area.
